SPA POLICIES + INFORMATION

Please be sure to review and understand Lua Beauty Lounge's spa policies and additional information prior to scheduling your first visit with us.

NO CHILDREN

Although we love your little ones, we respectfully request that you find alternative childcare for the duration of your treatment with us.

CARD ON FILE

All guests at Lua Beauty Lounge are required to keep a valid credit or debit card on file at the time of booking. When scheduling an appointment with Lua Beauty Lounge, there is no initial deposit or booking fee applied. This credit or debit card is only to be charged in the event of a late cancellation/reschedule or no call, no show (please see below)

APPOINTMENT REMINDERS

You will receive two text messages and/or emails reminding you of your scheduled appointment with us. These reminders will be sent to the phone number and/or email address that we have on file.

48 hours before your appointment: A reminder message is sent to your phone number and/or email address. This reminder allows you to confirm, cancel, or reschedule your appointment.

24 hours before your appointment: A reminder message is sent to your phone number and/or email address. This is a courtesy reminder message - you may NOT make any changes to your appointment at/after this time. 

Please note: If you choose to unsubscribe from messaging and/or email reminders, keeping track of your scheduled appointments is your responsibility and all policies will still apply. 

LATE CANCELLATONS + RESCHEDULING

A late cancellation and/or rescheduling fee is a charge incurred when a client cancels or reschedules an appointment within 24 hours of their scheduled appointment, compensating for the time and resources reserved by the service provider.

At Lua Beauty Lounge, any changes (i.e cancellation or rescheduling) made within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment are considered to be a late cancellation and/or reschedule and are subject to a late cancellation and/or rescheduling fee equal to 50% of the scheduled service price - NO EXCEPTIONS. This fee is to be charged to the valid debit or credit card held on your personal file.

To avoid said late cancellation and or rescheduling fees, any changes made to your appointment must be made at least 24 hours in advance. 

NO CALL,
NO SHOWS

A no-call, no-show occurs when a client fails to attend a scheduled appointment within our ‘grace period’ without prior notice or communication with Lua Beauty Lounge. A no-show fee is charged to account for the time and resources reserved for a scheduled appointment, compensating the service provider for the missed opportunity and impact on our business.

At Lua Beauty Lounge, any no call, no show is subject to a fee equal to 75% of the scheduled service price - NO EXCEPTIONS. This fee is to be charged to the valid debit or credit card held on your personal file.

As stated above, we do provide a short ‘grace period’ window for each appointment in order to allow for any unexpected guest delays. Please review below: 
For appointments 60+ minutes: grace period - 15 minutes after scheduled appointment time
For appointments under 60 minutes: grace period - 5 minutes after scheduled appointment time

Please note: any appointment time lost due to unexpected guest delays will be deducted from the total service time. This allows Lua Beauty Lounge to ensure that our service provider remains on time throughout the day - providing each guest with a prompt appointment start time. If you arrive to your appointment outside of the provided ‘grace period’, our no call, no show fee will still apply and your appointment must be rescheduled.n "Edit Text" or double click on the text box to start editing the content and make sure to add any relevant details or information that you want to share with your visitors.

INVOICES

Occasionally, in the event that the credit or debit card on file is invalid, an invoice will be sent to the email address that we have on file. Any outstanding invoices must be paid in order to schedule your next appointment with us.

THE RULE OF 3s

As always, Lua Beauty Lounge does follow ‘The Rule of 3s’ when it comes to late cancellations/reschedules and/or no call, no shows. Three late cancellations/reschedules and/or no call, no shows within one calendar year will result in no longer being able to book appointments with Lua Beauty Lounge.
